There is no doubt that getting a mortgage is a complicated process. You wouldn't be visiting our website if you could complete a one-page loan app and receive an excellent loan check cut in one day. But Paragon Mortgage Services, Inc. does the heavy lifting so you can concentrate on your life rather than the mortgage loan.
There are four primary steps involved in obtaining a loan.
Step one: Decide on your maximum loan amount
This is a function of a couple things. How much of a monthly payment can you afford? And given your unique credit and employment history, income and debt, and goals, how much will a lender loan you? Use the calculators on our website to determine your monthly payment amount. And we can guide you to the right loan amount and best program for you when you answer a few questions. Because lender guidelines are fairly standard, we can give you a good idea of how much you can borrow after a short conversation.
Step two: pre-qualify for your loan
This is where the process really begins and Paragon Mortgage Services, Inc. can really save you money. You will give us info on your employment, assets, and residence history. You'll provide information on your employment, asset, and residence history. We pull your credit score and report. After we've reviewed the provided information, we'll provide you with a pre-qualification letter. Your real estate agent will use the pre-qual (as they may call it) to make the best offer on the home you choose. The pre-qual letter gives you buying clout! While you're picking out your new home, we're busy finding the loan that's right for you.
Step three: apply now! We make it easy
Once you've made the offer and the sellers have accepted, it's time to complete the loan application. It couldn't be easier, and you can do it online, right here on our site. After the offer has been accepted and you have applied for your loan, we'll order a professional appraisal on the home.
Step four: your loan is funded
Your REALTOR® and the seller's will coordinate to find an escrow/title company to handle the funding of your loan. We'll work with this company to ensure the papers your lender will need are in order, and you will probably}likely sign all these papers at this company's officeWe work with with the title company to set your closing date. Since you won't need to coordinate this process, you can concentrate on moving logistics, paint colors, new carpet, and the details involved in moving into a new house.
